I shall be going to get reacquainted with a place I'm too familiar with, a Medallion upgrade on a Delta MD-88, going to Chicago to see my parents and collect the S4. The plan is to drive back and detour to the Cherohala Skyway.
See you all on Tuesday!

Hngghhhhhhh, I want S4.

Audi S4?

Unfortunately, yes. As much as a Lancia would be greatly desired, that's just not going to happen.

If you have $385,000 and I flight to Britain and a ship back, here is one for sale.

There are many, many better choices than a $385K *Lancia*...

I agree, but it is a Delta S4 Stradale, and why the **s?

You'll probably drive right past me on your way back.

Emphasis... if I'm going to spend $385K on a car, it's not going to have a Lancia badge on it, even if it is a Delta S4.

Oh. What badge would it have than?

I'd be tempted by the Aston Martin Vanquish, and their bespoke design service.

Then what about the remaining $75,000?
![]() 10/10/2014 at 11:22 |

If I was to be classless, bespoke options for the Aston (Luggage made out of the seat leather and that kind of thing)
Otherwise, the $75K would be very nice in paying for the gas, maintenance, and insurance for a couple of years. (You have to consider these things you know)

Yes, but that $385,000 is only the cost of the Delta S4, not any of those.

Another reason not to buy the Lancia.
Unless you want me to use the Clarkson reason:

I thought that was a photo of my parents 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan that they recently junked.
Not an exaggeration: before we got rid of it, it was literally held together with insulation foam and packing tape. If it got a flat tire, that was the end, because the frame was so rusted a jack would simply punch right through it.
